“Do you want to dance with me?”
The rogue had gone back to leaning heavily on Merlin and when he speaks, he tries to turn his head to face the servant, instead smushing his face into the servant’s shoulder, mussing the words a little.
“...I’m alright, thanks,” Merlin replies, caught off-balance by the out-of-nowhere request. It’s late, for one, and Merlin’s damned if he’s doing more physical excursion than is absolutely necessary.
Gwaine scrunches his face slightly in the moonlight, then lifts his cheek from Merlin’s shoulder to replace it with his chin, ernest, brown eyes sizing up his face.
“Can you dance?” he puzzles, “If you can’t, I’d be happy to teach you,”
AKA: Five times Gwaine asks Merlin to dance with him, plus one time Merlin asks Gwaine.

"I was gonna be a copper, you know," the man says, voice bitter as he takes his his first drag, "I would have been a sight better one than you are,"
"Bold words for a prozzie poof," is Gene's blunt answer.

After a night of drinking together, Gwaine and Merlin wake up in each other's bodies... Turns out that drunkenly egging on your partner to try out spells is a bad idea. Excited at the idea of a day off, Merlin begs Gwaine to spend one day swapped before they try and fix things. Which means Gwaine has to pretend to be Merlin to a disapproving Arthur.

Summary
The man looks like he’s been through a meat grinder. Thick blood is slick in every nook and cranny. In his hair, his clothes, and some of it is still dripping out of his mouth. A mouth with… a tear in it and visible sharp teeth.
When Grace thinks about it, it’s unlikely he’s human. Earth is so far from here. No, this person is some kind of parallel evolution thing. But the building blocks of the origin of the Big Bang are the same after all, so it’s not impossible that something might evolve, independently of humanity that looks just as human all the way out here.
Regardless, it’s nice to know there is something in this corner of the universe that at least looks familiar.
//We go home now, question? Rocky would like to go home and clean ship.//
“Yeah, let’s go,” Grace nods. “Help me carry him in.”

Rocky didn’t understand it- of course, how could he? As much time as he spent with Grace, humans were complicated. Their emotions especially so.
And Rocky had only ever interacted directly with one human, after all.
But... Grace wasn't happy.
They'd found another human!
“Why Grace scared? Question,” Rocky chirped, confused. “New human friend for Grace- thought Grace would be happy.”
Swallowing, feeling a lump in his throat, Grace pushed himself back up to stand. “Sorry,” he said again, smiling bitterly. “I guess I should be happy, but… I’m just thinking of all the reasons Earth would send more humans out into space- and most of them aren’t good ones.”
