After the intense battle against Retak'ka, BoBoiBoy thought he could finally lay low with his friends with their commander gifting them temporary off-days, a deserved break stretching to 3 months while Tapops focus on recuperating their destroyed bases and taking care of other damages left by the legendary elemental tyrant.
...Nobody told him this vacation pack included his powers going haywire. Seriously, how could copies of himself have their own conscience and literally escape from his power watch and cause a whole new problem for him and his team to settle?
The more Boboiboy spends time alive, the more he's grateful to have Ochobot as his only sane friend. Everyone he knows (especially his elementals) definitely have screw loses in their brains. Best pseudo-brother ever!

Summary
At the age of four, most children manifested their quirks. At that age, the three boys made a promise together. They drew their future selves with crayons, imagining what they would become. In the innocence of childhood, they dreamed of becoming the number one hero, united by the same passion.
“Here’s Ikkun, that one’s Kacchan, and this is me!” said the boy in the orange dino hat, pointing at the drawings.
“Maybe one day we can all go to a Hero School together and meet All Might!” the green-haired boy said excitedly.
“Then the three of us will be rivals. Whoever becomes the number one hero wins,” the ash-blond boy said with a confident smirk.
The three were inseparable—until the age of seven, when the boy in the orange dino hat moved away. Their friendship slowly cracked, though it was never completely severed. Years later, after the USJ incident, that same boy became a temporary overseas transfer student. He was there not only to complete his mission, but also to fulfill the promise they had made as children.
