Summary
Vladimir es forzado a casarse con Titus Danforth, un vampiro de linaje real por exigencias de su padre. Al principio, Vlad lo odia y lo desprecia, comenzando una relación obsesiva que va convirtiéndose en adoración con el paso de los años. Vlad cree que por fin está enamorándose cuando, de pronto, Titus muere protegiéndolo de los cazadores y jura sobre su lecho de muerte que lo buscará en todas sus vidas hasta que puedan estar juntos.
Consumido por la culpa y la dependencia, Vlad adopta el nombre Dennis y decide buscarlo, terminando por reencontrarse con Titus una y otra vez, teniendo la desdicha de verlo morir cada vez.
