Summary
Ryuji is brought with doubts about the team’s affection for him that they claim to have. It all comes down on him when he finds and picks up an unusual flower to add to the pile for Jose, but unfortunately it curses him instead, embedding itself near his heart. Now riddled with a sickness of coughing up blood and throwing up flowers, he needs to hide this until he finds a cure, but for some reason… The team’s banter further empowers the sickness' hold on his aching heart.

It was stupid of him, he has to admit. Now, as he hangs over the toilet seat, staining its delicate white walls with a bright, fresh crimson, he finally admits that he had been too careless with unknown things in Mementos.
The petals crawl their way out through his tightening throat and blossom past his lips in ocean blue waves, sunny yellows, and vibrant pinks all tinted with a stain of the bloody red of his being. Their vibrance stings at his glossy eyes that shut themselves to face the darkness, where an everlooming presence of the blackened flower stands tall in the middle of it all.
