Summary
It’s been months since the curse was removed, since the Silverwood seed was excreted from his right eye and returned to the earth as it belonged. Qifrey has recovered: he can move with ease again, he is gaining weight for once, and even though his vision is low, it’s there. Olruggio had even adjusted the seals on his glasses to accommodate how little light he can withstand at this point.
So why is he so tired?

"—not kill him, understood?!" Obito growls in exasperation.
There's a displeased grunt and the sound of metal clicking against teeth.
"As much as I would like to agree with you, Genma," Raidō tries civilly, "we can use him for information. I just don't... I just don't understand why he's dressed in pajamas..."
There's a prolonged silence following that statement. Kakashi can practically feel their eyes burning into his skin. It isn't his fault that he ended up here, he doesn't even know how or why it happened in the first place, so if he is dressed for sleep, then the guys should cut him some slack.
Or Kakashi wakes up in a different world and he isn't sure if he likes what he finds there.

He warned them. Repeatedly. Kakashi didn’t want a genin team. Kakashi had no idea of what to do with a genin team. He was self-aware enough to know he wasn’t quite right in the head. He should not be trusted with a bunch of children.
But did the Sandaime hear him? No, because the Sandaime wasn’t Minato-sensei and the old man never listened to him. And he went ahead with the brilliant idea of saddling him with his dead sensei’s son, Itachi’s little brother, and a kunoichi who was so much a cannon fodder that she had a literal target on her bright red dress.
He would not be blamed for the shitshow that was about to start.

Kakashi only knows how to teach three things: survival, assassination, and pretending to be normal. Good thing that's exactly what his cute little genins need to learn. And if they also learned how to be a family in the process, well, that's just a bonus.

Summary
Is it possible to regain what has been lost? Is what was lost worth chasing in the first place? The path to healing is not linear, and the steps are not always clear. As we reach to repair what was broken, we break others in return, and the pieces get jumbled in the shifting light of the present and the past, in the shadow of the future. What we are left with is not quite what was before, or even what could have been, but can it have worth all on its own?
Mirabel discovers that Tío Bruno is having "surprise" visions again, and in her opinion, he is not handling it well. When Mamá tells her that Bruno is different now than he was before the walls, she can't quite let the idea go. She decides to try her hardest to fix what has been broken--for Bruno, and maybe a little for herself, too.
Takes place 7 months after the movie. Inspired by the credit art of Mirabel and Bruno sitting together, surrounded by sand and rats. POV of Mirabel and Bruno alternating, and other characters sprinkled in, too.

Summary

It's based on the deleted scene of Mirabel talking to her father and Felix about Bruno. The family is worried about their recently returned family member. Bruno's reaction doesn't reassure them.
