Her investigation had been going along just fine until Graces ends up stumbling across a woman face down on the forest floor on the cusp of hypothermia. In which Spencer sends his daughter to his former mentor rather than Alyssa, hoping Miranda can take care of her while mistakenly assuming she's found a way to bring back Eva already. Miranda has not. So now she's got a random human toddler who's very resistant to viruses and diseases running around her lab trying to pick up scalpels. Chaos ensues as she tries to make sure the blatant favouritism she is showing to Grace doesn't cause a rift among the lords, or worse, become a weakness that her enemies might attempt to exploit.
She would have a much easier time with that if her child was not constantly swooning over Alcina's oldest daughter whenever they were in the same room.
(This fic will be updated a couple times a week, as much as I loved doing the daily updates of Viticulture ya girl needs to pace herself a bit better, especially with all the other ones I'm working on.)

“You three sealed the honmoon, Rumi. But you still have patterns.”"I don’t understand.” Rumi spoke, her world hazy. She tried to make sense of what was happening. Still dizzy and confused, her head spinning and heavy. Her stomach churned as she felt a wave of nausea hit.
“We have to get rid of that pesky demon side you still have.” Celine smiled.
Rumi’s chest felt tight, her heart best faster. As the sedative began wearing off, she became more aware of her surroundings. Rumi was able to lift her head up, she recognized the room Celine had her in; their medical room. "I don’t understand… what, what are you doing.” Rumi’s voice wavering, shaking with fear. She started crying watching Celine move closer towards her.
As Celine neared her, she gently placed a hand on Rumi's cheek. “It’ll be over soon my love.” She spoke softly. "I promise."

Her voice sounded strained, and it only made Mira more suspicious.
She raised an eyebrow. “Care to share with the class then?”
Rumi hesitated, opening and closing her mouth a few times, before sighing in defeat. She looked at Mira sideways, expression still wary.
“I-okay. But it’s…weird. And I mean, like, really weird.”
Mira wasn’t sure what Rumi was so worried about. Their entire lives were weird. They were literally Kpop idols who fought demons. Whatever weird idea Rumi had cooked up, Mira was sure she could handle it.
Mira put her hand on top of Rumi’s, gently squeezing it in comfort. “Rumi, If you think it can get us out of here, it doesn’t matter what it is.”
Rumi flicked her eyes back at Mira anxiously, clearly still unsure, but nodded, the words rushing out of her mouth.
“I could swallow her.”

The girls keep ending up in situations where getting eaten by Rumi is the best solution. As time goes on, the excuses get flimsier. Eventually, they stop needing excuses.
