Summary
In the wake of the Black Spider's defeat, Karagur Peace-Bringer is troubled. The Black Spider - a drow named Nezznar - was meant to be one of Karagur's great foes, a fated enemy he would defeat. Alongside his adventuring party, Karagur tracked the villain down, confronted him in battle, and helped to execute him.
And yet, Nezznar had shown remorse at the end, before his death. Karagur had caught a glimpse of the woeful life that had sent Nezznar down his cruel path. While everyone rejoices at the Black Spider's death, Karagur feels in his heart that this is not the course his destiny should have taken.
To give Nezznar the chance to redeem himself - and to restore his own destiny - Karagur sets out on another quest, to resurrect his enemy.
