Summary
“I can’t have fallen in love, I’ve never been in love with anyone before! Sure, Lucifer has some nice qualities, but just because I can admit that doesn’t mean I love him! Of course I enjoy his company, maybe more than I originally thought, but that doesn’t mean anything. And if I happen to know his routine, the fact that he puts way too much sugar in his coffee, and that his favorite category of food is sweets, what of it? I only know those things because…because…” Alastor stopped pacing and collapsed back into his seat.
“If you say that you only know all those things because you find him entertaining, then you’re just lying to yourself, doll.”
“Rosie…what do I do? How has this happened to me?”
After a night of drunken vulnerability, Alastor and Lucifer realize there might be something more between them besides being frenemies. Attempting to overcome their own self doubt and aversion to feelings, these two idiots slowly open up to each other and the possibility of romance. Of course, the road isn't easy, and obstacles come in many forms.

Summary
The Mortal Realm and Infernal Realm exist alongside one another and it's a well known fact. Mortals have taken advantage of this by allowing demons to emigrate only through work-release programs with trained summoners - requiring a period of indentured servitude before they become full citizens, conditions dependent on the bargains they enter into. Some demons are clever enough to swindle their summoners into easy contracts, and Alastor thought he was just such a demon.
Roo was more cunning than he gave her credit for, however. Her contract was indefinite and could only be broken if Alastor could speak and mean three little words: "I love you".
There's only one problem with that - Everyone knows that demons don't have hearts.

Alastor had thought he knew what he was getting into when he offered to make a deal with Lucifer Morningstar, the eccentric and immature King of Hell. Freedom and restoration of the sinner's health and strength, and in return he would faithfully serve as the King's personal executioner. Seemed like a win-win situation all around for the Radio Demon!
