Jazz does not like that falling through a portal stuck him (and his mech) on desolate planet. He likes even less that the portal closed behind him, stranding him with (at least) three kaiju on what appears to be an otherwise empty world. He likes the least that a grumpy black and white mech showed up out of no-where and accidentally blew up the portal-thing-a-majig. Because now he's truly lost. In space.
Well. At least he's not alone? Or, he wouldn't be, if this guy spoke a lick of English—or any other Earthly language.

Jazz couldn’t even get the clearance to have Bebop’s visor display emojis, and not for the lack of trying. Meanwhile, this guy gets a whole, expressive face and—holy shit, are those teeth?

When the Decepticons, desperate for somebot who actually knows how to do repairs, kidnap Ratchet, he's fairly sure this is the end. At least until he sees how their medic, Hook, treats patients. With rescue pushed far from his processor, Ratchet sets to teaching the smug perfectionist proper medical procedure by hook or by crook, dragging the rest of his gestalt along with him.

Summary
Prowl (Prowl, Prowl, Prowl) moves back to the rails, placing both servos on them to lean over and see Jazz better. He looks surprised, for a klik, with optics wide and lips parted. Jazz is struck with just how pretty he is, all elegance and stoicism, and is even more surprised at how terrified that makes him. His spark is spinning erratically and his right servo keeps picking at a spot of peeling paint on his thigh, despite him having thought he killed the habit.
“So you do know me, after all.” Prowl says, and Jazz swears there is something amused in his tone, even as he frowns.
Jazz smiles, wide and real, and nods. “After all? Yes.”
In which Jazz manages to introduce himself, make a fool of himself, and possibly make a name for himself in front of the single most processor melting mech he's ever seen.

Prime moves swiftly, with purpose—lifting, shifting, tossing debris aside as though it weighs nothing. His steps are careful but unrelenting, the ground shaking just slightly under each one. The tremor of the rubble vibrates through Starscream and it feels like knives being jabbed into his wires.
Of course Optimus Prime would show up. Of course he'd come for one of his own.
He can't even delegate this to someone else. Optimus Prime is too noble, too compassionate, too honorable to not put his own life on the line for his underlings.
Megatron would laugh at the very notion.

Dear Noventa,
It should perhaps come as no surprise that I have met with failure. The original endeavor was noble and just in its undertaking - to observe and advise on human rights and the rules of warfare as agreed to by the collaborative War Tribunal that bears your honorable name.
The man known only as the Red Knight, as you know, has a terrible reputation and often engages in "total war" against the citizens of a place. However, his employers declared to us their intentions to adhere to the War Tribunal’s more humane principles even as they sent him in pursuit of war against the Sanq Kingdom. Yes, though the endeavor was sound, and the choice in advisor from the Tribunal was equally sensible - I find myself, instead, a prisoner.
I am not ill-treated. On occasion, the Knight still finds amusement in humoring me with an audience. He seems to make a sport of ignoring all of my advice. Even worse, he declared the young Peacecraft Queen his hostage!

Summary
For the last thirteen years, Earth has been under attack by an invasion of biomechanical monstrosities from outer space. In that time, humanity has managed claw survival back into their own hands through the establishment of The Mecha Program, allowing human pilots to battle with the alien horde via neuro-linked, gigantic kickass armored weapons known as mecha.
After over a decade of research and development, for the first time humanity is taking the fight to the invaders.
Striker 1061, Callsign: JAZZ, is sent into Earths orbit to test an experimental space-worthy mecha, and instead finds himself in an unexpected fight as one of the aliens emerges from a tear in space directly next to him.
Attacking the invader, both it and Jazz go back through the tear, where the gathered alien supervisors shit themselves and launch the human back through the gate: Destination Unknown.Both the mission control of Earth and the Quintesson Overseers can only assume there is no possible way the human pilot is still alive.
But if somehow he is, then surely, his Odds of Survival must be Zero.
