Kendra pushed down on the intruder's neck. They appeared to be around the same age as Kendra. Their messy bleach blonde hair fanned around their head, and they were wearing a tan trench coat over a sky blue suit emblazoned with the Superman logo. Oh, this intruder was kind of… Hot. Like, really, really ho—Focus, Kendra!
She pushed her arm up on their neck harshly, menacingly flaring her wings and hoping to God her face didn’t betray her thoughts.
“Who are you?! What are you doing here?! ANSWER ME!”
They blinked, “I-“
“Kendra- it’s fine! This is Kara, she’s my cousin!” He smiled. “Kara, meet Kendra, aka Hawkgirl. Kendra, meet Kara, aka Supergirl!”

There weren’t a lot of vampires around, not even in Gotham, despite its reputation as the U.S. city with the largest nonhuman population.
He’d gotten quite good over the years at either deflecting, admitting, or scolding, depending on how valuable the opinion of the asker was to him.
