After the Nogitsune, Stiles just wanted to get back to regular life again, go to school and for things to be peaceful for a while. He had so much blood on his hands, the peace was rightfully needed. But things are different.
He doesn't know how or why yet, but things are different. They have to be.

Summary
Stiles was happily living as a “human” teenager when his best friend Scott is turned into a werewolf. Now Stiles has been pulled back into the supernatural world that he always belonged to. He will have to reveal his long kept secrets to help Derek defeat the rogue alpha and stop the Argents from killing them against the hunters code. Alliances will be made and friendships tested as a new Hale pack forms to protect the nematon and Beacon Hills from hunters and the rogue alpha.
Begins during season 1 episode 3 after Scott goes back to the bus. The first chapters are similar to the show with scenes added and then it quickly diverges from canon.

Stiles never made it back home after his argument with Scott outside of Deaton's clinic. He knew Scott would never understand that Donavan's death was an accident, but he was still angry about his best friend's reaction. Let it be known that being angry and driving in the rain don't mix well. Stiles dies that night, but that is not all. His corpse goes missing from the morgue the next day, leaving a guilt ridden Scott and company to wonder what happened.
It doesn't help the situation when a group of vampires show in town, a month after Stiles's death.Series

The one where Stiles was born a werewolf and became an alpha when he was eight years old after his mom was killed. Stiles' dad knows about the supernatural, Scott did not grow up in Beacon Hills and has been a wolf for about a year before he moves to Beacon Hills and becomes Stiles' first beta. Derek is angsty, smart and pining for Stiles has serious trust issues and is bent on vengeance.
Major plot points will be struck but the plot of season one will be seriously altered for obvious reasons. Read the tags for more.
