Summary
Tommy doesn't actually hate villains for what they've done to him. He doesn't find it productive to waste his energy on what is a societal issue that he can't change. Besides, with powers like his, heroes and villains pose the same level of threat - and it's not like he could defend against either of them if he wanted to.
He turns to face Wilbur. “You don’t actually want to be friends with me. You said it yourself; I’m a dick.”
“It’s kind of endearing,” Wilbur confesses, “And I do. Want to.”
“I’m haunted,” Tommy warns, though slightly regrets it when those brown eyes lean closer and sparkle with curiosity.
“Really?”
“Tremendously.”
"How so?"

But what happens when the Sith Lord Dream, Theseus' master, suddenly abandons Theseus, bound and surrounded by his enemies?

Summary
Phil always said he’d help Techno bury a body. Usually in passing with a teasing smile and a knock on the arm. Considering the fact that Phil was literally a cop, he never took it too seriously and just laughed alongside him as he promised the same.
So you couldn’t blame him when, after his first kill, he was more than a little surprised that the man actually meant it.
It had been really one of the worst situations you could be in after straight up murdering someone, borderline comical in how self incriminating it all looked. Phil, an officer of the law, had literally caught him red handed and standing over a gored body.
But instead of running like any sane person would or even shooting him like any cop would, he locked the door behind him and asked where Technos shovel was.
He can’t really remember what he said in return, a lot of that night was hazy.

Technos a rural recluse with a little corrupt found family and he makes a big uh oh and accidentally kidnaps a kid. Dadnoblade will likely ensue.

“What I’m sayin’ is, if you happen to get yourself into more trouble than you can handle, I would probably not kick you out if you came knockin’ on my window again.”
Tommy’s eyes are saucers: two spiral galaxies brimming with infinite wonder and light.
“For real?” he asks, as suspicious as he is breathless with wonder.
“For real,” Techno echoes dryly back, grinning faintly as he stands. “I’ll come up with a way for you to return the favor.”

Techno's eyes travel from Tommy's head to his toes, recognition didn't flit across his face like Tommy had anticipated. Nine years did change a person a great deal. Techno, who had only been fourteen the last time Tommy had seen him, was now a grown man, well muscled, all traces of boyishness gone from his body. Though he was still recognizably Techno. Tommy on the other hand had been six. A runt with bright eyes and a firy personality. Tommy wondered if the years had rendered him too changed for his brother to know him.
Then it happened. Tommy saw the instant Techno put the pieces together. He stood up in a rush, his book falling to the floor in a heap, while his beer sloshed around in its bottle.
"Tommy?"

Tommy winds up at Techno's doorstep after nine years of separation. He'd found him online via article. Apparently Tommy's brother was a semi famous bullrider. Tommy didn't care about that though, he just needed somewhere to stay. A cabin out in the middle of Texas would just have to do.

Tommy flinched back from the river. “It boils souls?”
“If Bible fanfiction is legit, then yes,” Techno said, straight-faced.
He stared at him. Even in a realm with glass as pavement and a never-ending red glow, whatever Techno had just said was much weirder.
"Dante's Inferno? The classic? You've never read it?"
Tommy simply blinked at him.
“Forget I asked,” Techno sighed. “It states that Phlegethon is there to punish. How much you’ve sinned and committed violence is how deep you’d have to stand.”
The other edged further away from the flaming lake. “So not the time for your swimming lessons, okay.”
“Shut up.”
Tommy didn’t expect to be given a quest. Sure, Apollo’s flesh could be ambiguous. But not so much when your next of kin was a nine-year-old.
He also didn’t expect a Roman Praetor with way too many titles and a weird grudge against him to come as well. But maybe falling into literal hell could fix a couple of misunderstandings.

Tommy looked up, and for a heart-stopping moment he saw Zephyrus, standing on the end of the roof, framed in the sun. His hands balled into defensive fists, and then thank god, thank fuck that at least one good thing had happened to him today, he blinked and the figure was just Nightmare.
He knew Nightmare, the vigilante kept showing up on his patrols. Tommy had lined up for ice cream last week, and Nightmare had tapped him on the shoulder and waved and said heads up, he wasn’t planning anything, but he was here, just so Tommy knew. You couldn’t go after someone who wasn’t doing anything wrong, so Tommy had made a somewhat-awkward quip about how he probably shouldn’t punch him out, but he knew Nightmare was a wrong-un and he had an eye on him if Nightmare was planning crime with the ice cream, and Nightmare had laughed until he was bent over at the waist, holding his stomach and wheezing like a kettle.
Nightmare was a known quantity, Nightmare was safe. Tommy much preferred a trustworthy vigilante to seeing his mentor’s disappointed face. He waved. “Hi, bitch.”
Or: Tommyinnit is a superhero, and things haven't been going well. At least he has one friend left, though!

The kid turned slightly, just enough for Techno to see the edge of his profile. His jaw was set, his lips bloodless from pressing together too hard. His shoulders, already narrow, seemed even smaller now, like he tried to become invisible.
And Techno… sighed.
"Get inside before you freeze to death."
The kid blinked, clearly thrown off. "What?"
"You heard me." Techno stepped back, jerking his head toward the open door. "I’m not in the mood to bury a corpse in the morning. Inside. Now."

"The Swine King," Phil read under his breath, his feathers puffing up in curiosity. Another boss-like creature, perhaps? Nether was certainly filled with those, given the existence of Withers. Abandoning his previous findings in favor of satiating his hunger for knowledge, he turned the pages until he found the chapter in question.
He was met with a singular page dedicated to the topic, the next one being completely unrelated. Phil sighed in frustration, yet began his research.
