When Weems suggests (forces) Wednesday to tutor Enid in exchange for weathervane trips which will aid the solving of her newest murder discoveries, she accepts all terms. Just a bit of the worst kind of torture to endure for her gripping case.
The only issue is....perhaps the torture starts to become enjoyable. And maybe somewhere along the road, they began studying less herbology and more of each other. And that case too.Wednesday Addams learns that some people don't need to pry their way to your heart. You hand it to them willingly.

Summary
"I need you to pretend to be my…lover.” She tries not to choke on the word.
Wednesday expected Enid to yelp or freeze in shock, perhaps even an astonished scream. What she gets is Enid’s bumbling laughter, almost hysterical in nature. So she stands entirely too still until her friend leans down to hold her stomach and gather her breath.
“Are you done?” She asks after a while.
Enid nods, still having trouble breathing. “Sorry,” she giggles a little and turns her head up to look at Wednesday, the tears in her eyes now made of mirth instead of sorrow. “It’s just…it looked like that was so hard for you to say.”

Summary
When Wednesday is summoned to a cursed family estate in Maine for the death and inheritance of Ichabod Addams, she’s ordered to bring an “emotional support person” so she doesn’t accidentally murder another relative.
She brings Enid.
What is supposed to be a week of morbid rituals, inheritance challenges, and quiet emotional suppression becomes a full-scale transformation. Enid, immediately targeted by the Addams family’s “tests,” is poisoned, nearly killed by traps, critically injured, and emotionally dismissed as an outsider. Rather than accept being fragile and protected, she makes a furious decision: if she’s going to love an Addams, she’ll become someone who can survive Addams territory on her own terms.
Over seven days, Enid undergoes an intense “Addamsification”—poison training, trap navigation, psychological trials—supported (and sometimes sabotaged) by Wednesday’s overprotective instincts.
Meanwhile, Wednesday wages war on two fronts: on her scheming relatives for Ichabod’s inheritance, and on her own terror of loving someone exactly as they are.

Summary
I've been wanting to try my hand at fanfic for a while now, and this is the result. Here's an excerpt so you know what to expect (this will most likely updated every week)
Enid shivered at the goth girl’s words. ─“Yeah, well, let’s leave the evil spirit summoning to whoever the fuck and get out of here, it’s starting to creep me out.”─
Enid turned to leave, Thing coming with her, but she quickly noticed that there wasn’t a second set of footsteps behind her.
The blonde girl turned around and opened her mouth to call Wednesday but quickly shut it when she noticed Wends had let the bone fall limp in her hand as she stared into the too-dark for comfort gloom between the trees with her head tilted slightly to the side as if she was listening for something that Enid couldn’t hear.
A heartbeat passed.
Then another.
Then from somewhere deep within the inky darkness of the treeline, something shifted.
Not loud. Not sudden, but definitely wrong in a way that made Enid’s breath hitch as the sound came again, closer this time, measured and deliberate, like whatever it was was answering a call neither of them had ever meant to make.Bookmarked by SamoPanics
