Summary
The last thing Morty wanted to deal with was Halloween.
He’d done just about everything he could think of to try to talk Summer out of it – whined, begged, threatened to tell mom and dad, legitimately shed a few tears – but his sister could be a real unmovable bitch when it came to her social cred and the opportunity to throw a party blasted his weak concerns out of the water.
And sure, it was Halloween night, something definitely worth celebrating and yeah, mom and dad were out for the weekend and okay, a week ago he’d have been one-hundred percent onboard - but as things were, Morty wasn’t surprised at all to find himself attracting exactly the attention he’d been doing his best to avoid.
Because Rick Sanchez was staring at him through the propped open doorway to the garage where Summer and a few other kids were passing around a joint – his glare wild and focused and just bordering on pissed.
(Or the one where Morty is forced to face his feelings for the new kid at a Halloween party he'll never forget.)

Don't be fooled, story is more serious than the title. Morty gets tired of Rick not respecting or listening to him on adventures and threatens to divorce him as a way of trying to get Rick's attention and to try and get him to listen. It backfires terribly.

Due to an experiment gone awry, Jerry is trapped in the living room and is forced to see his son ravaged by tentacles. Now, two weeks later, Jerry hasn’t been able to stop thinking about it. He knows this is a mistake, he’s a horrible father and a terrible person but he’s only a man. A very pathetic, lonely man. It's too late, he hopes that one day Morty will forgive him.
Not knowing who else to turn to, Morty runs to Rick’s room and barely manages to explain what happened. Rick has never been able to forgive an attack against his family and this time is no different. Jerry is soon to learn that no one touches what belongs to Rick Sanchez. No one but him.

After getting into a fight with Morty Rick decides it's time to try out something new he's picked up. He's heard good things about an alien parasite called a Sympathid, a little brain crab generates empathy and alters a person perception of reality. After a brief moment of pain, Morty is plenty pliable to Rick's advances and even seems to be enjoying them very much as he's off in a fantasy world while Rick's true actions are much less loving.
Chapter 1 is Morty's POV while Chapter 2 is Rick's POV
