He didn't want to go. He wanted to curl up and sleep, in silence and solitude, like he always did after a session this intense.
But it was the first night in months where they were all in the tower together. Zack had recently been promoted to First, and now he had his own place he insisted on playing host at least once. He was excited, but also dedicated, finally learning how to properly clean and cook so he could have Angeal, Genesis and Sephiroth round for a proper dinner, and Sephiroth had sincerely wanted to go. He wanted to be with his friends.
So he forced himself out of the comforting dark of his apartment, back beneath the harsh florescent lights of the hallway, and knocked on Zack's door.
Sephiroth's evening doesn't go to plan. Fortunately his friends are there to help.
