Autumn sits down on the couch, spinning the board to have the black pieces face him, then places his glass beside the board. He looks back at Silver, “How about we make it more interestin’ too?”Silver raises a brow, doing the same as Autumn and placing his glass beside the board before pulling his chair up to sit behind his set of pieces.
Autumn gestures to their glasses, “When someone loses a piece, you drink.”
Silver glowers at him. “How large a drink?”
Good point.
“An amount relative to the piece value. Lose a Queen, drink half the glass. Pawn, just a sip. Sound fair?”
Silver lifts his king piece up, admires the craftsmanship of its carving from stone.
He then looks back at Autumn. “And for checkmate?”
Autumn grimaces. “A whole glass. To the rim.”
Silver places his king piece back down. Then lifts his glass.
“I can agree to those terms.”
Autumn grins, then lifts his own glass to clink against Silver’s.

Susie, moved by the flowers’ determination to live, becomes determined to let them, bringing them to Castletown and dedicating herself to their care whilst Asgore is gone. Flowery is given a nice tape bandage and popsicle stick splint, and she and Kris gently take the trek to the Grand Fountain. However, after school the next day, when she goes to visit them for their daily watering, there is one problem: All of the flowers absolutely REFUSE to go outside of their sunlight. Their encounter with the Knight has terrified them to wilting, and they have become overly involved with Flowery’s care. Ralsei, Susie and Kris now have to try to convince the flowers to come outside and spread their leaves. Flowery’s too kind to say it, but they’re all driving him crazy!

Kinger mumbles an affirmative under his breath. The sound of scratching on paper grabs Caine's attention, only just noticing the notepad in the other's hand. He watches the pencil dance across the paper, slightly entranced by the movement, until it stops and Kinger's attention is back on him. "Alright. What's the last thing you remember?"
Nothingness. The absence of himself. A moment that never existed, yet he knows the time passed, so something has to be there. Even if it isn't. Even if he wasn't. He thinks this, and comes up with a response that makes sense with the context he has in his mind. He doesn't compute how it will come across when all he has to say is:
"Nothing."
OR:
Caine is dead. Then, he isn't. Not because the humans wanted to see him again, not because they felt bad, but because the circus couldn't survive without him. To top it all off, he was only brought back to begin with thanks to one teeny, tiny little condition:
