If only the BAU knew that Spencer Reid being nearly half an hour late to work one morning would cause everything to come crashing down on him. He wanted this day to be like any other, he’d told himself it would be. For months, he’d managed to convince everyone around him that everything’s fine.
But Aaron Hotcher is concerned; if not fed up with Reid constantly dancing around the subject of his own well being. Hotch isn’t having it anymore, especially not when one of his greatest agents is walking into the office looking like death warmed up.Hotch isn’t having it.

That wasn’t necessarily true. They would all find their way back by dinner time at the latest. But it was true enough for the moment. Sorta like when someone promises forever but they only really have right now. Because sometimes forever means the same thing as right now and sometimes “however long you need” is the same as “however long I can give you”.
Seven times the Bats learn something New about Dick's time as Batman and one time they go to court about it.

The drugs flooding his system after a particularly hard case and going a little too long without a hit fills Spencer with immediate relief. If only he knew this was a high he might never come down from, he might've made a different choice.
Derek just wanted to check on Reid. He knew his friend wasn't as ok as he claimed he was, and this was a hard case. He never imagined just how badly Reid was struggling. Nor did he imagine the scene he'd walk into, the one he knew would forever be seared into his brain, even without an eidetic memory.

After a rough night, Steph and Damian use the code on a very tired Dick. Only Dick is no longer Batman and the entire family is there to watch. They have questions. Many questions, in fact, so it's a good thing they also found a box full of letters Dick wrote to them at that time.

Now, they need to try to unravel just who has been causing the extra distress while also trying to get Reid to sit still and maybe take some time to heal. Aaron is not sure which of those tasks will prove to be more difficult.

Wylan would never admit it, but he worried about Kaz.
Granted, Kaz could take care of himself, very well, if Wylan recalled properly. But, it still gnawed on him sometimes. Kaz had a good number of enemies, a penchant for pissing people off, and an incapability to ask people for help. He had spent many long days at a time hearing nothing from him, wondering if he had finally made his way to the Barge, before receiving another knock at the door out of the blue.
Jesper loved those visits. Wylan hated them.
It was another one of those long stretches, the sixth day of it precisely, when he said to Jesper, “I think that I want to invite Kaz over for dinner.”
Jesper had blinked at him owlishly, before casually shrugging and saying, “Whatever you say, Wy.”

(Tim did catch it, but he saw no way around it. He drank with trembling hands and nearly spit it all across Falcone’s fatty, bald head)
Desperately, he looked around, when he spotted him;
Jason was in the club, mingling with some of his goons and cooly overseeing the crowd.
Shelby (Tim, it was Tim) managed to twist in the lab of Falcone and made a signal with her manicured hand. Her nails are press on and long, a deep red in color and she signs like her life depends on it. In a way, it does. She knows Hood had seen her, was watching her, and behind her back she began to spell out her issue.
