Gray just knew that Natsu was in the middle of whatever was happening, wondering not for the first time how it was that his boyfriend managed to find himself in the middle of the worst of the chaos every single time. Of course, Natsu didn’t help matters by rushing off on his own to face things, and Gray and the others had been more frustrated than worried when they’d regrouped and turned around to find that the idiot had disappeared. At least until the building had started shaking, rocks and dust falling from the crumbling ceiling.

We were rivals before anything else,” he squeezed Gray’s hands. “We’re still going to be rivals on some level even when we’re married, or when we’re old and grey.” That derailed Gray for a moment, and he gaped at Natsu, unable to react as the Dragon-slayer shifted his hold until he had Gray wrapped up in a tight hug. “That hasn’t changed, and it’s not going to, I promise.”

When Natsu is swallowed up by some weird magic bubble, it's just another normal day in the Fairy Tail guild. But as it always does in Fiore's rowdiest guild, it goes wrong very quickly.

But is it really that simple?
Everything went so perfectly, the dragon and demon seeds were destroyed, Zeref was killed, Natsu had survived, and the book of E.N.D destroyed with Zeref. After the war had ended everything slowly went back to normal.
Well except the dreams... those were new. They were comforting though, hearing Igneel's voice night after night, making the same decision he'd make a million times over. The one that saved him. So why was it different this time? Igneel never said that? Did he?
(Takes place some months after the war with Alvarez. Everything is running smoothly, too smoothly. What happens when something thought to be over with has really just begun?)

This is the other pov from my five times Legend hated Warriors' smile. It's been living rent free in my head and I've been slowly working on it while writing my current crack fic. It's darker in some ways, sadder in others, and there's nothing super explicit in the sexual assault areas, but there are some very uncomfortable scenes. If you've read the other fic, you'll know why and when.
I suggest reading the other fic first, and this one does have new scenes as well as other pov scenes from the first fic.
Either way, it's here, it's in progress, and I need it out of my head.
