What if Jax had confronted Ribbit when she abstracted?

Jax didn’t just feel guilty. He was drowning in it.Ribbit was gone, now a mess of jagged dark edges and glowing eyes. It was only a matter of time before she too would be stuffed into the cellar with the other abstracted people. It was too late to save her now and it was all his fault.
A memory came to him, one of Kinger’s many rambles about how his wife (no idea dude had one till that point) loved darkness and that they had one last warm reunion before they parted. If what Kinger said was true, could he possibly do the same with Ribbit? However, that would mean somehow getting the “beast” into a dark space. Alone. Trapping himself with a monster that attacked on sight and could possibly make him a glitchy mess too if it caught him.
He had already made all the worst possible decisions in his life, surely things couldn’t get worse by making one more.

Summary
Tails just may have made the biggest mistake of his life.
The abandoned Eggman machine he brought into his lab was the oddest thing he had ever encountered, though nothing compared to Doctor’s other big flops, like his huge robot cow or trying to take over the world through stinky cheese. So of course, he was far from prepared for what it did; ripping a hole in time and space.
And who would come out of the hole it created.Toodles had walked upon the rip in time and space by chance.
She was boooored out of her mind! Though venturing deeper into the abandoned floors while hiding from monsters was exciting somewhat, she wanted something new. Too bad exploring outside the center was basically illegal (which is pretty unfair btw) and no one understood her urge to leave a place so “safe.” So when she just so happens to be in the right place at the right time to see a portal open right in front of her from her wanderings around the center, what does she do?
She goes in to explore of course.So what happens when they inevitably cross? Well, I’d be more than happy to tell you how.

Follow along Teagan Brewsworth throughout her day-to-day life in Gardenview!
I don’t see a lot of Teagan centered fics, (Teagan-Centric only brings up two works not counting this series as I’m writing this 😔) I want to explore Teagan more as a character, and I want to try more slice of life/little-to-no angst related stuff. So, why not kill three birds with one stone and make an entire series to fix that! :D
Though all stories are standalone from each other and don't need context from previous stories to make sense, there is a slight overarching story so I recommend reading them in order.

Toodles stood before the elevator unable to move forward, as if some invisible barrier was stopping her. Part of her was still expecting her latest babysitter run up and pull her away, to tell her it’s dangerous she should let the adults handle it. She knew better though, the last group of toons went down 3 days ago and sometimes when toons go down they don’t come back up.
“Come on Toodles, be brave”
She stepped forward into the elevator.
Aka Toodles befriends all the Twisteds and somehow doesn't die because of pure luck.
