Albert Wesker resurrects his old nemesis for the final, true vengeance that had driven him mad since Redfield's untimely death in 2009. Summary
Wesker isn’t a god though, certainly not in Chris’s eyes. But the placement works if it must - there’s something irrecoverably religious about falling for Wesker. Of course - suffering feels religious if you do it right; that’s how the saying goes. The old wound carved by the end of Wesker’s gun still draws near as Chris bites hard on his bottom lip, tasting blood and wine and melting into the hushed gasp Wesker lets out.
