Summary
Whenever this crushing feeling came over you in the House, whenever your mind wouldn’t shut up, you would always go and find that shard of glass in the second floor’s storage room.
And sometimes all you can think about is how much you want to do it again. To feel that sharp confirmation that what you’re experiencing is real. That you’re real.
Or: A bad habit formed in the loops comes back to bite Siffrin. Isabeau won't let him struggle alone.

Summary
Ragatha should have been jealous of Ribbit. They made friends, comforted people, kept the group glued together and sane. Everyone trusted Ribbit. She was so good at what Ragatha had struggled to even try to do. But it's like expecting a star to be jealous of the moon. It's too glorious, and too integral to the beauty of the night. Ragatha couldn't hold anything against Ribbit if she tried.

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE NINE
Leeroy Mateo kind of finally has his shit together. Kind of. He’s not homeless, he’s not unemployed, and he doesn’t want to kill himself. Most of the time.
But one day he gets a text from a number he doesn’t recognize. Someone who knows his deepest secrets, isn’t afraid of revealing them, and has a few “requests.” While Leeroy does his best to comply with his blackmailer’s… bizarre demands, he does his best to track down and uncover his extortionist — in the process unearthing a world he could have never imagined.

Summary
"You're not dead," Pomni said with a frown. "Not yet, at least. You're just — indisposed."
At that, Jax gave her a long look as his mouth narrowed out into a little line. Then he sighed quietly. It wasn't the way he used to sigh, with dramatic posturing that begged the attention from anyone even remotely listening. It was small. Tired. Reflexive. Then he sat down with his knees to his chest, glaring into the dark water. The only light here, a single streetlamp, glowed weakly.
"Denial is an ugly color on you. Clashes with your stupid hat."
"Jax — "
"I'm gone," he snapped. His voice echoed in the abyss. "Don't you get it? No one comes back from Abstraction. You're not saving me, you're not helping me grow. All you're doing is keeping my body from rotting." Jax's hands worked their way up to his head, squeezing as he growled, "You're talking to a ghost."
or, a post-canon fix-it fic, featuring the De-Abstraction of Jax. It's messy and it takes time, but it's never too late to try.
