How long? He couldn’t quite say right at this moment. Fiyero was too overwhelmed to think about such things. Slowly his senses began to return to him.

Fiyero had been bounced from school to school ever since he graduated secondary school. Always flunking out or getting into some kind of trouble. On top of it all, of course everyone was relying on him to be a great king. Expected him to be the perfect King and the perfect Alpha. It was simply too much for his body to handle. He must’ve been repressing his instincts for years at that point. Elphaba’s heart broke for her friend. No one deserved to live like that.
