This ends up being a not so great idea that stresses everybody out.

Mariner and several others on the Cerritos wake up with twenty years of extra memories. Even if the memories fade, they might spark a few changes. In the meantime, it's a lot to deal with, but that's what friends are for.

Time Travel and its many different flavors has left many tear stains in their wake. This occasion is no different.
To have lost two friends so quickly, to have a version of them still present without all the memories of an entire lifetime, to slowly feeling those experiences fade from your mind. These are the stories I love to see.

Best Friends to Lovers. I love this as a trope, and I’m sorry to say but the latest victims of my fixation are Beckett Mariner and Bradward Boimler.
I love that the actual show never took them in this direction but at the end of the day I’m a truly romantic sap so I have been poking around the fanfictional multiverse for Marinler content. There’s genuinely a lot of really good stuff in this tag, and this story was among the best I’ve read thus far. Incredibly well written with plenty of good moments for every character involved, including every member of the senior staff.
If for some reason you’re looking at my bookmarks for something to read and think this might interest you give it a read.

One of my all time favorite tropes in fiction is that of Time Travel, more specifically the Time Loop. Groundhog Day, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Two Distant Strangers, Re:Zero, Palm Springs, to name but a few.
I’m a sucker for stories like this, and I also seems on a bit of a Marinler kick at the time of writing this down. If you like either the trope or the pairing I highly recommend this story.
