“Shoko. If you pass out, we’re going straight back to the infirmary.”
Suddenly, his tone sounds far more stern than it had a minute ago.
No. No. If he takes her to that godawful place, she’s going to die.
“Don’t.” Shoko barely chokes it out before the lump rises in her throat again. Immediately, she clamps a hand over her mouth, managing to drown a muffled sob. There are no tears, but her corneas burn, threatening to create them. She curls inward, a spasm ripping through her body.
What’s the infirmary gonna do about her? Invalidate her and let her suffer, as usual?
Or: Shoko’s having a bit of a rough time, and Getou’s a good friend.

Summary
The regions of Hyrule have always been diverse, but not so as the Heroes who defend them. The land has been at peace for countless years, and during that time towns and cities have rose from the ashes of the past war, settling into a world of comfort and technology.
Everything seems perfect until a mysterious little kid shows up on Legend's doorstep (or rather, into his shop) claiming to have come from a Ganon-worshiping cult. A local mini-mart worker named Twilight similarly finds a feral child out on the streets and decides to take him in. It's Wind's freshmen year of college, and he's determined to make friends- he meets Four, who will apparently be his roommate for the rest of the year. Warriors and Time try to support him in any way they can. Sky is a junior flight attendant trying to find his place in life. From there it gets quite messy, where a snarky, emo Legend must become a big brother, chaos is always around the corner, and somehow runs into a bunch of crazy guys with the same variation of his name?
Strange, the heroes of Hyrule are so different it's a wonder they attract each other... -

Summary
Megumi was relatively certain he was about to get kidnapped. He really didn’t want to deal with that. He already had enough to going on, and spending a moment longer talking to a stranger with no concept of being young and alone and fucking hungry, Megumi wasn’t in the right mind to give a damn about what this guy had to say.
(or: megumi meets the strongest later, after life has already gone to shit. it changes things.)

He picked up the call and put the phone to his ear, and had barely said hello when he realized something was very wrong.

“I, uh,” his voice shook and sounded muffled through the phone, “I just wanted to say I’m sorry. And that I—“ a sharp breath, “—that you’re my best friend. Thank you for always being there.” His words were rushed and Satoru got the feeling he was going to hang up if he didn’t start talking.
“Suguru, what,” Satoru fumbled around for the right words, “what are you talking about? I mean, of course, always, but what… What’s going on?”
A choked sob rattled through from the other end of the line, and Satoru was immediately standing.
“I just—I can’t do this anymore. I can’t be this person anymore,” Suguru gasped, then Satoru heard glass breaking in the background.
“I’m going to kill them, Satoru. I can’t let them live, they don’t—what they did, I can’t—” His voice was raw and angry then, but thick, like he was crying.

Immediately he continued speaking into the receiver, “I’ll be right there, Sugu, don’t move.”

Summary
A bad concussion during a solo mission leads to a stay in the infirmary for Fushiguro Megumi. That in and of itself is nothing out of the ordinary. As a jujutsu sorcerer, he's accustomed to returning from missions a little worse for wear. Just a night or two, he'd assumed. He'd sleep it off and be back out in the field in no time at all.
But traumatic brain injuries are no joke, and the painful, prolonged ordeal that follows not only uncovers a side of Megumi that he normally keeps under stoic wraps, but of Gojo Satoru as well—as his devoted mentor tenderly and patiently cares for his star student on the road to recovery.
