Summary
Things were left just as he wanted. No one would miss him, no one would even notice he was gone. It didn’t matter; nothing mattered. There was only this now. And it was time he let go.
…When House is left to pick up the pieces, he’s beyond despair. Comforted by the memories of Wilson finds him paralleled within the gaps of where Wilson used to be. Until he dreams of his best friend, and it’s so real, so tangible, they have conversations they’ve never had before.
It couldn’t be real though, could it? So why were things moving, things changing in his life today? Where did hallucinations and imagination end as the paranormal began? And would it be worth everything for House to find Wilson again? Of course. This was Wilson. And Wilson meant everything.

“What do you need, Wilson?”
“Nothing. Go back to bed.”
“Talk to me.” House said. “Tell me what…what’s going on.”
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
House stamped down the urge to tackle Wilson into the couch and hold him until the sun rose and everything would be okay again in the daylight.
Instead, he sat his empty glass next to Wilson’s full one and hobbled back to bed.
House didn’t sleep a wink. Wilson didn’t come back.

Summary
He’s angry, at first. Angry at House for hurting Cuddy so badly that she hasn’t returned to the hospital since the incident. For breaking his wrist, which still hurts like a bitch every time he moves his arm wrong, and aches even when at rest. For torching not only his career but his personal life too.
For leaving Wilson behind and all alone.
[...]
Over time, the anger fades, leaving a deep, bleeding, House-shaped wound in its wake. He’s no longer angry at the bastard, he just misses him. And isn’t that pathetic?
After the assault on Cuddy's house, Wilson spirals.

Summary
House creates a betting pool on if him and Wilson are dating, but lives to regrets it.
"House remembered the first time someone joked about him and Wilson being an item, a chuckle in the break room that spiraled into the infamous betting pool. It started as a dumb joke— a way for House to mess with Wilson and a way to gauge how the hospital viewed their relationship. The debate had been a staple in the hospital for years, and eventually the opposing sides had reached a stalemate. No money seemed to be distributed to anyone until the two died or married. The betting pool had become a losing battle, a silent cold war among the staff. "
