Kenny blinked, jaw tightening ever so slightly as Leo dabbed the cotton pad against his knuckles. Leo frowned as he noticed it, trying to be more gentle. He didn’t want to hurt Kenny anymore. He took extra care bandaging his hands.

“They ain’t gonna let you back in tonight, are they?”
Kenny was silent for a moment. “...No.”

Summary
Butters had a plan for college: be quiet, pass economics (barely), avoid his parents’ disappointment, and have a completely harmless, deeply repressed crush on Kenny. Instead, he can turn into a golden retriever now. Which means Kenny has essentially adopted Butters as his favorite stray dog, calls him a good boy, and gives him belly rubs that Butters absolutely does not have the emotional stability to process.
Also, one of Kenny’s best friends found out Butters' secret, reacted by going “dope” instead of “concerned,” and now blackmails poor Butters into helping with poor life decisions like they’re some kind of discount Bonnie and Clyde. Butters did not agree to this, he would like that on record.
There’s also that wizard who might unalive Butters if he messes up, which he is going to do, statistically speaking.He really just wanted a quiet college time.

Chaos goes on and on, and Mysterion zones out. Wanting to puke, he stares at the ground, no longer struggling against the ropes. His spit suddenly feels thick, and he finds it increasingly harder to breathe. A bead of sweat drips down his forehead. What the hell is wrong with this lunatic?

Kenny grins, apparently liking where this is heading. “It really would be.”
--Kenny isn't used to having options. Butters isn't used to having normal teenage experiences. They both find a way to help each other out during the last few months of senior year.

Butters is on the run for something horrible he did when he was young. For a long time it was only Professor Chaos that made appearances, but now he’s ready to go back to school for his senior year with a new identity, Leo Werner. His goal is to try to have as normal of a life as possible in order to take down the freedom pals.
Mysterion/ Kenny can’t shake a case about a house fire a few years back, His friend and former classmate has been missing or possibly dead since. While Kenny tries to solve the case he begins to have feelings for a new kid in his class. And on top of that, he has an inter-dimensional being inside him. A lot of questions in such a short time; can he solve these mysteries and get the guy?

Kyle, who was still stuck on the damn ceiling, glared at them all. "Well, if we're all done calling Kenny pretty, can someone please get me down from here already?!"
