He sulked at how utterly annoying being in love is, that it makes him yearn for the peacefulness and privilege of a life he used to have when he was just a mere kid, a life that he can’t think too long about before the memories start turning bloody and sour.
Law found himself frustrated from knowing he can’t do anything about the fact that they are a hundred percent still in what one knows as the ‘honeymoon phase’ which is why Luffy’s dumb —cute— face kept mixing up with those thoughts.
Or…
Law and Luffy take a day off together post Wano liberation. And they’re very in love.

“Who are you?” Law asked, looking warily at the stranger. The man just beamed at him, his smile so wide it made his eyes crinkle at the corners. He looked like a commoner, with only a threadbare shirt and short, dirty pants covering him from the cold winter air.
“My name is Monkey D Luffy! And I think I fell!” The man said, his voice light and carefree.
“You fell,” Law repeated the words slowly, disbelief clear in his tone. “From where?”
“Up.”

Or alternatively, the fantasy AU in which Law is a recluse healer living alone in the woods, Bepo is still a bear, and Luffy is literally God. They still kick Doflamingo’s ass in the end.

"What have you been thinking about?"
"Your fingers," Luffy blurts out before he can stop himself, before he can think about a proper response, and he only registers his words when he sees Law blinking.
Then, he lets out a breathless chuckle. "My fingers?"
So Luffy does it again. “I want them in my mouth,” he says and this time receives a more desirable effect, a deep red flush spreading across Law’s cheeks as his eyes widen.

Or, it began when Luffy realized he wanted to taste Law’s tattooed fingers, and it all came crashing down from there.

Summary
The sight of dark and stylishly tousled hair —hat-less for once—, bronze skin that glistened invitingly with sweat, toned muscles mildly covered by bandages, and endless paths of intricate, hypnotizing dark ink decorating broad expanses of said skin was plenty unfamiliar but definitely not unwelcome.
Luffy remembers literally gulping, unable to peel his eyes away from the other man. His throat felt dry all of a sudden, his stomach twisted in a weird way.
It was like the heat of the environment had seeped into his whole body inside out, with a multiplied by five intensity.
Or
Luffy is thirsty and doesn't know it. The Strawhats help him realize what he's feeling. And Trafalgar D. Water Law happens to reciprocate said thirst and so much more.

It was no secret to the entire hospital staff at Grand Line General that their Chief of Cardio, Dr. Trafalgar D. Water Law, was an insanely secretive man. Nobody knew anything about Dr. Trafalgar’s personal life, apart maybe from his closest colleagues (read: Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin), and apparently Dr. Trafalgar liked to keep it that way. He lauded the benefits of keeping work and personal life separate, and was an expert in changing the subject when questions directed to him started to dig deeper beyond his work and accomplishments as the best Cardiologist in the region, if not the country.
So it caused an absolute shockwave when news started going around that Dr. Trafalgar was apparently married.

Summary
After Ace died, Sabo took off without a word. Luffy has been searching for him for two years, determined to find the only brother he has left. When his search dead-ends in Johto, he gets summoned by Shanks, all the way to the Sinnoh region. But now Shanks is missing, and with the only other place he could be across the entire land, Luffy is stuck.
Law has a resolve in coming back to Sinnoh. He has everything planned out, up until he hits the point on the map where home should be. At least, that's what he thought, and then Monkey D Luffy bursts into his life, needing a guide to take him to Veilstone. Now his grand plan is on the verge of being altered, and he isn't sure how to feel about it all. But, in the end, was it even much of a plan at all?

Summary
Despite Luffy’s intrusion to his side of the bed, Law found himself comfortable– peaceful, even. He wouldn’t lie and say he didn’t sleep better with Luffy next to him, the gentle rhythm of the boy’s heartbeat and occasional snores lulling him to sleep like a familiar lullaby. Even now, he found the familiar fog of sleep settled over his exhausted mind. There was almost a comforting solace in the pressure of another body against his own, especially his lover’s.
Though, that solace had been rudely disrupted as a strong leg slotted itself directly between his legs and a tanned hand clumsily attaching itself to his chest.
Law choked on his breath, eyes shooting open at the sudden, intense shockwave of bliss that overtook him. He had just barely managed to bite back the groan that threatened to escape his throat, to not roll his hips up into the leg offering warmth and pleasure if he dared to use it.

Replying a little breathlessly at the boy in light blue scrubs, Law mumbles, “No, I don’t think so, I’d remember you.”
At this Luffy was once again giggling and Law physically feels his brain start to produce extra amounts of serotonin at the sound, already planning on ways to make more.
“Freud is dancing in his grave,” whispers Bepo, causing Shachi and Penguin to burst out laughing.

Law's mind races the more he walks, his heart-beat pumping loudly in his ears echoes each step he takes.
He barely registers the soft creak of the door opening into the room in front of him and he gas to double-take at sight of the carved statue of a man he’s greeted with to realize where he is.
Gorgeous tan, lightly freckled and sun-spot stricken tan skin stretches out over tightly corded muscle. The sound of the door opening has the guy shifting, causing his back to tense and flex around in different, tantalizing areas of his body.
“Hm? Oh! You must be the masseuse guy. I’m all ready to go.” The kid says, a wide grin glints against the thin slice of light Law lets pool into the room.
This kid was going to be the death of him.----
a.k.a Zoro notices that Luffy's tense during a practice match and sends him to a massage therapy spa to loosen him up and Law finger fucks him on the massage table <3- Language:

“I might. It's a good view,” Luffy says with a low, rough voice that is reserved for moments like this or for when he's about to punch someone into unconsciousness, which Law would be fine with too as long as it meant Luffy's hands on him.
But instead of attacking Luffy remains still in his place, dick half hard between his strong legs, head shiny, begging to be touched as well, his chest moving just as fast as Law's but his body almost glowing with heat, Luffy always running hot by nature but becoming a furnace while aroused.
And god, Law could feel it despite their distance, could jerk off to the image in front of him if he wanted to and would come almost as easily, almost as hard.
