At the low shushing, she seemed to start to calm down. Behind him, Yibo approached slowly and peeked over Xiao Zhan's shoulder. The two men watched in awe as the baby finally settled down but she didn't fall back asleep. Instead she opened her eyes. Two collective, barely audible gasps echoed in the quiet bedroom. Brown eyes stared back unknowingly at them and then clenched shut as she yawned widely.
