Summary
Aizawa stands on the doorstep of Tensei's home, shoulders strangely light without his capture scarf, unsure of what he's even doing here; he can't keep Tensei's friendship not if he can't trust him, not if he knows that he'll be keeping Tensei in a place where he has to prove himself, be careful, where he might be threatened by a friend again, by family.
So he has to make a choice, one that risks himself, and his kids.

Present Mic's words ring true, but Tensei will be damned if he turns into the man as well.
No manipulation, nothing to try to call on their long friendship to guilt Sho into being his friend, jut honesty, just kindness for his dear Sho, no matter what.
And no matter why Sho wants to talk, how much it will tear him apart to lose Sho, he'd never close the door to him, never lock him out.
No matter what, Tensei's home will always be Sho's as well.

Bakugou made a mess of Aizawa's home, ruined it.
He ruins everything. A fifteen year old kid screaming to be heard and right when he found someone who would listen, Bakugou silenced him.

Summary
The Sports Festival. Dynamite has a job to do, one he refuses the fail at.
It doesn't matter how many fuckers get in his space. Doesn't matter that every breath is acid on these grounds. It doesn't matter that he's swallowing blood just to keep going.
What matters is that the kids will be safe this time.
And at the end... well, he fucks everything up. Because that's just the person he is, who he'll always be. He hurts his family. He's selfish and cruel and they were all right.

Another damned Sports Festival that he's not trying to stop. That he's going to use to shatter this school, going to make students pay for that success.
But only in minor injuries, Aizawa will never let it be more than that. That's already going too far.
And after, his friend, Tensei back again, and there even without him asking, support and steady, and reassuring, Tensei. And his kid, Bakugou, shaking apart, too brave for his own damn good, and Aizawa will make sure he's safe, will destroy anyone that gets in his way.
No matter how horrifying actually preparing to do that is, no matter how sick it makes him, no matter the pain that crosses Tensei's face.

Summary
The last thing Hawks needed this year was the reminder that U.A is becoming an increasingly larger threat to the world he wants to build, and that there's nothing he can do about it, no power that he holds that can rival Nedzu's in the form of Eraserhead's loyalty.
But regardless, the reminder comes, and in the form of a Sports Festival, that he finds out about through the news
Thus a meeting with Nedzu, on U.A grounds, is a necessity.

The Commissioner is on school grounds. Aizawa doesn't know why, but he remembers the Joint training test, and the damned Commissioner is on school grounds before another damned Sports Festival. Aizawa has to find out why.
Even if he's abruptly reminded that the Commissioner is also Hawks, family to Tokoyami, and thus part of Aizawa's wider family.
But his students' safety must come first here, no matter who where the corrupt title of Commissioner.

Nedzu really find this a waste of time, Hawks standing in front of him, throwing a fit about something that Nedzu knows he'll capitulate to anyways.
The only concerning thing is Hawks' brief conversation with Aizawa. But alas Hawks remains powerless, Commissioner or not.

Summary
Cold, unsteady, coursing pani- no, rage.
Bakugou can't breathe through the rage that crawls up his throat, wants to throw away everything that makes him, him. Almost does, except his guardian walks him back, reminds him of everything he wants to be.
So, instead, he commits to years of this... this cold, this unsteadiness, the twisting walls, and the coursing rage.

Nothing he could do, never a damn thing that Aizawa can ever do.
Hold still, don't move, powerless.
Sitting in a room with a bunch of people that are supposed to be teachers, that were his friends once upon a time, and he doesn't recognize them, wants to soak his hands in blood.
But he has students to protect, and children to be there for, and he'll take down U.A. eventually.
The most important thing though, is getting to Bakugou before he finds out from the news, before he has to confront it alone; no matter how much it itches at his skin to leave the students unguarded on campus at a time like now.

Summary
One moment free of obligations, of stress. That's all it takes for Bakugou's dominoes of avoidance and purposeful denial to come crashing down around him.
More kids than adults on a battlefield. And the blame for a kidnapping, for any atrocity is on the shoulders of whoever committed them, not the victims that survived them.
What the fuck does the world look like though, if Bakugou is right? If everyone else was wrong?

Aizawa thought he had the lowest opinion of society that he could get, didn't think it could go lower, not after the way society reacted, or rather didn't react to the horror show that was the Sports Festival.
And then Bakugou texted him, needed him, and asks him a question... one that he hasn't considered.
With an answer that makes him detest the system he protects and everything it stands for. An answer that he wishes didn't have to be true, that he didn't have to give his kid.
