Maybe I should have expected this. It's funny, in a morbid sort of way. “Close your eyes,” Isagi murmurs, and Kaiser shuts his eyes obediently, the brush cold against his skin. A moment of silence, and then, “Sorry, angle’s a little off…,” and Isagi invades his senses even further. Kaiser feels a dip in the bed beside one of his thighs, Isagi’s knee knocking into him. The hand touching his chin skims down the side of his neck to settle on his shoulder, steadying himself.
He should really remind Isagi of the time with an antagonizing quip and get him to fuck off. But Isagi looks fucking angelic leaning over him like this, and Kaiser never liked doing things halfway.

Summary
Dark hair, shorter than average height (at least for Germany), a face that seems so… forgettable at first glance. Kind of like gray paint. The boy looks up, his expression flickering between confusion and politeness. His hands hesitate over the laces of his cleats, and something about that slight pause irritates Kaiser for no good reason. Or maybe it was because this boy seemed to belong here in a way Kaiser didn’t—too at ease with this bland, second-rate environment. At being under a roof that didn’t leak, with strangers who might want to harm him, who were all out to crush each other in some way.
Kaiser scans the room briefly before his eyes land on the boy officially. “This the right dorm?”
“Uh… yeah,” the boy says, still caught off guard. “Are you... new?”
“No, I just thought I’d drag all my stuff here for fun,” he replies dryly, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. He sets his suitcase down with a thud, and his duffel bag follows soon after.

For a moment, Kaiser just stares at him, and then, unexpectedly, he laughs. The sound is low and rough, and it sends a chill down Isagi’s spine.
“You’ve got a sharp tongue for someone in your position,” Kaiser says, his blue eyes glinting. “But don’t think you can get under my skin.”
“Fur.” Isagi smirks despite himself. “And looks like I already did.”
Kaiser’s expression flickers for just an instant, but he quickly turns away, his broad shoulders tense. “Stay out of the west wing,” Kaiser says flatly, his voice devoid of the earlier humor. “That’s not a request.”

He’s aware that his family definitely misses him, but he still doesn’t know how to face them just yet. (A pang of guilt always hits him when he thinks of them. They’re definitely watching the matches; how must they feel, seeing him like this?)
His perfectly constructed plan is immediately halted when he sees Bachira bounding towards him from a distance, and the only thought that comes to mind is oh no.
Kunigami begrudgingly spends time with his friends over winter break and confronts some important feelings.

Yoichi. The best in the world, that’s one way to put it, and he couldn’t have been blamed for not knowing, not understanding what he was speaking into existence every time he spoke it.
But also, the first.
And now, name whittled and weathered and worn down until it’s familiar against his tongue over the years he’s called it, the texture of it changed, it sounds different too. Just like his does against Isagi’s, eroded over time until the harsh edges softened, said like a gift.
Said like it’s his.’
