“We’ve been trying all day, no offense Gui, but I don’t—” Yanqing starts. Guinaifen’s phone rings with the telltale sound of a picked up call, then drops to background noise as she increases the volume on the phone. Yunli’s name is emblazoned on the center.
Yanqing shuts up.
