And so, you lie back down. Your hands on your sternum. He looms over again, and puts one hand on your jaw, tilting your head until he has a perfect angle on your throat, and the other hand rests next to your shoulder, bracing against the ground but close enough you can feel the chill of him. As he lowers his head to you, his hand on your jaw shifts so he has his palm against you too, as if he's trying to get as much of your little warmth against him as he can. He holds you gently, delicately. Then he bites, like a shard of ice into your neck giving way to throbbing numbness. Your breath catches, your pulse quickens.
You can't feel him the way you would if he were something else – no heat radiating off his body to call to yours, to place how close he is to you – but still, the sound of his breathing coming hard and fast, the pressure-pain of your life flowing into his, and just having someone else this close to you, who wants you like this; you're finding your body reacting as if this is something else entirely.
