During a joint Young Justice operation with the Bats, Tim is struck by an unknown spell designed to force Robin to relive every injury he’s ever endured, leaving Bruce and the others blindsided as they’re confronted with the devastating fallout.
Cue the fix-it fic where Tim inadvertently calls the bats on all of their bullshit and Kon struggles to get though the ordeal without putting Bruce’s head through a wall.

Summary
Tim’s body hasn’t quite caught up with his mind, still caught in the whirlwind of his rapidly shifting headspace. The growing headache is no surprise, just another thing that he ought to be accustomed to by now.
He blinks through the pain, a familiar habit, and scooches away from the caregivers. Though the onesie does not construct his movement, he’s hyperaware that his crawling shows off the puff of his diaper. Tim will never convince his brothers that he’s big if he continues to appear so utterly infantile.
“Nuh uh,” Tim finally rasps, voice rusty from disuse. “No, no, no.” Tim is not begging yet but he will be if they don’t put down that bottle soon. He doesn’t need the anti-suppressants anymore. His body isn’t nearly as agonized as it was when Jason initially found him, so there’s no reason for the lack of energy he has now.
Depending on adrenaline can only get him so far, but it’s all he has to give. It has to be enough to get him to a phone. One call and his dad can make it all better. Just two little pills and this can be over. No more bottles, no more diapers, no more snuggles, or forehead kisses, or hugs, or, or—

Tim is finally big again after spending days in littlespace.

The hit resonates above the noise of the city. His head snaps to the side, eyes forced to the cracked concrete below. He can feel the blood beading where her ring has carved into his cheek and it stings under her touch but the vitriolic Arabic that so sharply rolls off her tongue right after cuts so much deeper.
"You are an only child, Ibn al Xu'ffasch."
Her nails dig into his jaw, forcing his head up to meet her eyes. "You have always been an only child. You'd do well to remember that."
A part of him resents her for calling him the sole heir. Splinters at the idea he was born alone. Another wonders if she is right. If he can even call himself a brother anymore when his is scattered, thousands of miles away, ashes in an unmarked grave.

That, somehow, makes Jeongin crumple. He gasps, tries to keep his cries in, but it’s futile. Chan holds him, Changbin wrapping his arms around him after a few seconds. Jeongin, for the first time since he woke, let himself fully grieve. He let himself feel what he’s been avoiding. He screams and cries from the anger. He hiccups from the guilt. He’s an utter mess.
Yet, through it all, he remains held. They don’t let go. And that makes him wail harder.
Chan had an inkling their pack was still missing something, someone. Enter Yang Jeongin, but not in the way anyone expected.
