The camera opens to a gator animatronic sitting on the chair, he seems more pissed off than usual, which is saying something. There are drawing scribbled on his face in what seems to be a black sharpie, the name card appears on the screen, 'Montgomery Gator, guitarist, favorite hobby: creating property damage', he growls.
"I'm going to kill that kid."

Summary
Asgore finds out the reason the kid has been resetting, apparently, it has to do with the dead buttercups on the floor and the whispers of apologies he keeps hearing.
He also finds out Frisk has some empathy, just not for them no, all of it is for the skeleton who all those years ago ate those buttercups, and unintentionally sent all of the resets into motion.

When a chance meeting at the animal shelter crosses their paths, something unexpected carries between them, like a call, waiting to be answered.
*This work is a remix/ heavily inspired by Wolfbird (OpalApparition), including people and locations. In my mind, a “what could have happened if they met in a different way and made different choices.” It’s sweet, has (mostly/eventual) soft landings, and features many puppies who absolutely did not ask to be a part of this, and one very dramatic chiweenie who did.

Ilya closes his eyes.
He blinks back his tears. He wants to nod or shake his head or something, but he can't.
This can't be happening.
He blinks and blinks and blinks again but he's still in the hospital and he still feels like shit and his mom is dead and Shane is far away and he thinks he's depressed and there is something inside of him that he doesn't know what to do with.
Fuck, he thinks, in russian and in english and in french, even. Fuck.Or, in 2020, Ilya has a (very) unplanned, (very) complicated pregnancy, Shane has to learn that sometimes things don't work out the way he planned, and some other things. Set in The Long Game, kind of.

Shane is there and he's worried and Ilya is pregnant with his baby and maybe he's dying, he no longer knows, and he has no idea what to say.So he just bursts out crying and lets himself be held, and he feels guilty about it, but he can't help but fear it will be the last time Shane will hold him like this, without resenting him and his secrets. Without resenting his body and the decision he's made.]
