Evan looked at Barty, his eyes glistening. He looked like he was fighting back tears.
Barty looked at Regulus, unsure what he'd done wrong. Regulus looked disappointed, like he knew.
“I am gay,” Evan said, barely above a whisper.
Barty's face fell as the realization of what he'd done hit him. “Evan,” he started but Evan cut him off.
“Just don't.” Evan sounded slightly angry but mostly hurt. He stormed out of the room.
