“We don’t know if this is poison. It could be some concoction from the future, where they know how to deal with speedster biology better, or something from outer space. Maybe even a magic potion,” he explains softly.

In the aftermath of Conner being mind controlled by Lex Luther and leaving the Titans, Tim visits him.
Tim bit his nail. “You seem to be under the impression that this is the ultimate betrayal of friendship and I should be horribly offended because I’ve never been betrayed before to this level in my life.”
Conner crossed his arms.
“Kon,” Tim spoke, “I hate to tell you this, but you just missed the boat on that one.”
Conner shook his head. “What?!”
“You weren’t there.” Tim explained. “But Jason Todd- you know, the previous Robin, broke into Titans tower and tried to kill me.”
“I was there though.” Said Conner. “You called my name and I came all the way from Ma’s to find you a bleeding mess on the floor of the basement and I nearly had a heart attack.”
“Cassie told me you were crying.” Said Tim.
“Cassie’s a bitch-ass liar.” Said Conner.
“I’ll tell her you said that.”
“Please don’t.”
