    Humans, through their vile curses and pogroms on Witcher settlements, drove the only ones who would help them run monsters away from their kingdoms back to their keeps. One of the elder Witchers, Vesemir, called together Witchers of any School to join him in Kaer Morhen. Wolves and Cats and Griffins and Vipers could shelter in the crumbling walls of Kaer Morhen while the Continent beyond the mountain slowly fell apart.

    Desperate to get Witchers back into their kingdoms to rid themselves of monsters, an offer is made; kings and queens of the Continent will let Witchers return to their kingdoms and walk through them with free passage, if the Witchers of Kaer Morhen are given an assurance that no harm will come to them while they're outside the reach of the mountain.

    Their assurance comes in the form of a prince offered up in marriage to the White Wolf, appointed King of the Witchers.

    Witchers were treated poorly and hunted by men so they retreated to their mountain keep, the schools all coming together, minding their own business, and leaving men to themselves, just like they asked…until they didn’t and realized they needed help with monsters. Some witcher are ready to go back on the path so Geralt agrees. part of the trade includes Geralt marrying a royal member of the court. He does so reluctantly/aka for his people. That person is actually a groom instead of a bride. Jaskier is drawn to him but Geralt is worried he was forced so keeps his distance. They dance round things/situations until Geralt is almost killed by the Redanian’s kinga army. They talk it through, Jaskier sits by his said as he heels. They finally admit their feeling and decide to take the next step.

    Stucky AU. Modern Bucky - vet who lost his arm. Was a part of Stark’s convoy. He gets in a motorcycle accident and ends up in the hospital. His roommate is a tiny, but feisty Steve (who lost the serum when he went in the ice) with all the medical problems. They become friends and flirt. They kiss then Steve disappears. SHIELD recruits Bucky (who’s now moping around) to help the Avengers save NYC when the aliens invade. He also recruits Steve to be their leader and realizes who he is/was. He’s a good leader that pulls everyone together. Ends with them dating.

He finally confronts Steve and they share their feelings. Kind of. They start dating but keep it secret since Bucky gets hired on as an assistant to Maria. Steve likes to take control, and take care of Bucky. Has its ups and downs. Bucky is framed for selling tech secrets to a competitor and fired. They figure out they were wrong. Peggy apologizing for fucking up, Steve and Bucky talk things through Finally. Happy ending. Hey .
