Suho’s boyfriend, Sieun, always had trouble falling asleep. How come now, five months into their relationship, he falls asleep whenever he and Suho are together?
Suho is not sure if he should, but he finds himself talking in front of Sieun’s father one day. “These days, he keeps falling asleep like this. I don’t even know why.”
Mr. Yeon looks at him, confused. “Kid, you really don’t know why?”
Suho blinks. No, he really doesn’t know. Mr. Yeon looks at him, then at Sieun who’s still sleeping in his arms.
“Ask him when he wakes up.”

Summary
Alec has spent most of his life hiding.
That's just the way things have always been. From a young age he knew he had to hide to keep himself safe, because there were people out there who would hurt him just for being born the way he was. To keep his secret, Alec has done his best to hide away the parts of himself he can't risk letting anyone see, only letting that part of himself out in the late night hours when no one's around and he can take to the skies. It's the only place he's ever felt free.
All that changes one night when Alec happens to misjudge a storm and finds himself crash landing on Magnus Bane's rooftop.

He looks at Sieun. He’s sleeping on his side, one arm under his pillow and one arm around Suho’s waist, one of his legs thrown over Suho’s legs. Ever since they kissed for the first time, Sieun started sleeping like that, wrapped around him. He’s not complaining.
One time his grandma walked into his bedroom to grab his laundry and saw Sieun, still asleep, curled around him, his head on his chest. She didn’t flinch. She told him she knew already.

He does not struggle to understand this, because Suho is honest and open and has never found a reason to be ashamed of expressing himself.
So one day when Suho’s ready to move on to better things, to someone who fits him well and is pretty on top, Sieun won’t hold the breakup against him.
He knows that Suho will do it kindly—will take Sieun out on one last date before breaking the news gently outside his front door.
And Sieun will thank him for spending his time dating a boy like him. Simple and quiet with nothing to offer.

“How’s it going?” And there’s his voice, low, raspy from disuse, but still his voice. That voice that Sieun would follow anywhere. Eurydice trailing Orpheus out of Hell. This time, no one will look back. This time, they go home.
“Good,” Sieun says, or tries to say. It’s more of a soft huff, because he can’t quite get his throat to unstick itself. Can’t quite remember how to form words. Suho’s eyes are smiling at him, so he thinks he understands.
They just stare. Drinking each other in. Somewhere in the near distance, a bird sings and quiets. Somewhere else, another one sings back.

Summary
He still obsesses over the concept of time. It’s a vicious, doomed cycle. He wastes it, loses it, and then some. He pulls strength from his core and forces it out, past the resentment and anger. Sieun, like a lifeline, pulls him back when he strays too far. As soon as Suho can stand on his own feet, his only way forward is to follow him.

“See! Even Sieun disagrees with you. The man who knows everything.” Gotak huffed out.

Unthinking, Sieun replied mildly, "I took Ox bone soup for Suho when he ended up in hospital once for fighting.”
