Reo stumbles and almost drops his coffee. “You—holy shit,” he says, stopping a few feet away. “Nagi. Hi. You’ve—you got—huge.”
Nagi just blinks. “Yeah.”
Or: ‘holy shit, you were the scrawny, sweet baby that I protected from bullies in middle school, but now we met again years later in college and you’re huge and distressingly hot.'

He shook his head: "That's not what I meant. I was just wondering, if you hid the fact, that he's your boyfriend on purpose."
Reo's brain stopped for a moment. She was frozen, staring right at her fathers face. Nagi? Boyfriend? Her cheeks filled with red. The sea urchin she was holding dropped back on her plate.

Satoru takes another step forwards, arms spreading wide in excitement, “Yūji-kun! You’re here!”
“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

Satoru makes some bastardization of a sound, half between a laugh and a cough. “...Whoops?”
“I,” Suguru grits, pinching two fingers together, “am this close to mass murder.” He’s joking. Probably.

Gojo grinned.
Yuta immediately became suspicious.
That expression never led anywhere good.
"You're staying here."

“Satoru?” The word rings, fuzzy in his ears as it whines like tinnitus, familiar and heart stopping.
‘I’m dead.’ He can’t even hear his own thoughts over the loudness of the world, staggering where he stands, eyes still fixated on the sky, on the sun. ‘I’m dead, I died, I felt my heart stop, this can’t be, it can’t-’
“Hey,” it comes again, a little more urgent than before, a little closer, another hammer to his ears and all the noise shrieking behind his eyes. He recoils hard enough to go stumbling as a hand reaches for him, covered in flesh rather than empty bone, tan and recognizable. Unbelievable.
There’s something wet trickling from his nose. Bile stings on the back of his tongue. The words dissolve into the rest of the white noise as he stares up at the blue of the sky, and tries to remember if he’d ever had a hallucination as bright as this.
‘I have to be dead,’ he thinks. Somehow, he isn’t.
Or: Gojo Satoru goes back in time. He makes a couple of changes for the better.

Zanka clicked his tongue in displeasure as the joint was handed back to him.
“I cry once and now I’m on suicide risk?”
“You were always on suicide risk.” Jabber shrugged, lazily letting his head turn towards his boyfriend, whose eyes remained on the ceiling. “Why d’you wanna kill yourself, Z?”
There was a beat of silence between them, and slowly it stretched over time, until the only sound in the room was the exhale of smoke from Zanka’s lips.
“I don’t wanna kill myself.” He answered firmly, as if he had spent the silence attempting to make himself believe in it, and eventually managed.
- OR! : Zanka has fallen into one of his more rare, more intense depressive episodes. Does dating the impatient and rude man that Jabber Wonger is help, or make it worse? Zanka couldn't really tell you. ( But oh, it helps so much. )

Summary
The last year of high school was meant to be the best year of their young lives. Zanka calls bullshit. The people who say that high school were the best years of your life? They definitely weren't bullied since grade school by Jabber Wonger. Nor were they perpetually confused by the mixed signals Jabber has been sending (and forcing down his throat) all year.
Most bullies don't corner their targets to kiss them, actually. And the targets don't usually let them. But, Zanka has a knack for falling right into Jabber's traps.

That was one of the last thoughts Zanka had before he would eventually succumb to the icy grips of death, and he didn't mean a single word he said.
