**NHL player Shane Hollander faces a serious injury while playing the Penguins. He is rushed to the ED, to the always capable physician Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch who is back from his sabbatical and working to rediscover his empathy. Shane’s injury is tenuous, and Robby needs to find a decision maker immediately, but things are never that easy at the Pitt. What he discovers will reveal secret relationships, start difficult conversations, and perhaps be a step in his journey to rediscovering the great doctor he knows he can be.

After a moment’s hesitation, both of them burst out laughing. “Fuck Timothy,” the man whispers conspiratorially, leaning close to Remus and making his body warm a bit with his proximity. “If you tell me to have a shit holiday, I won’t tell a soul.”
Remus grins and decides to have fun with it, “Well if we count that offer, that’s twice you’ve gone out of your way for me, now. If I didn’t know better I’d think you have a thing for nerdy blokes in elf outfits.”
The man laughs, cheeks turning pink. “I wasn’t aware I did until I saw you, so we can blame you for that one, eh?” he asks, eyes twinkling.
