Summary
When the Aedyran envoy accidentally inhales the spores of an explosive mushroom, she develops a condition that sends her into an insatiable heat. Her companion — Kai — does his best to help, even if that assistance turns out to be more ‘hands-on’ than either of them expected.

He couldn’t see much in the darkness, just the gleam of Astarion’s dark eyes and the lightness of his hair. He could feel when Astarion moved his hands to cradle Gale’s head, dextrous fingers combing through unruly brown hair. “What’s keeping you up then? I hope not me.”
Gale smiled at him, letting his eyes close again at the sensation of fingers massaging his scalp. “It would be a joy to remain awake always in your presence. It would prevent me from missing a moment of your beauty.”

His arms hang in front of his body, hands curled tightly around something that he holds out to Robin as soon as Robin is out of the motorcar: a small metal tin, decorated in dark blue enamel with a stained glass-like pattern of leaves and vines etched into the surface.

(He might have the decency to ask the books what they thought of this plan. The books had been watching the two of them for over a hundred years, and certainly had a great deal to say on the matter. But Aziraphale neglects to consult them, and thus will be very unprepared for what happens next.)
