Severitus meets Snarriet
It begins innocently: young, abused, malnourished Harriet Potter is secretly cared for by a mysterious figure, who feeds her through a vanishing cabinet hidden in her cupboard under the stairs. What starts as gentle, forbidden kindness slowly twists when Harriet finds she can crawl through the cupboard herself and finds herself in a strange underworld, meeting the man himself. Severus Snape finds himself with a young, needy Harriet and can't deny the dark and possessive obsession as Harriet grows under his touch and care into something far more dark than he ever imagined, and then something infinitely sweeter-the man who might have been her Daddy if her mother had chosen differently. Hortensia discovers, years too late, that she received a Hogwarts letter hidden and ignored by her parents for years. Entitled, bratty she blackmails herself into Hogwarts, beginning as an older first-year... placed right into Slytherin house.
Bullied by her housemates, her bleached blonde hair is hacked off in a vicious prank. Snape reluctantly brews the regrowth potion that restores it. Only it doesn't come back blonde, but, lush, vibrant red, the exact shade of Lily Evans, infact everything else about her looks like Lily Evans instead of the washed out child of Petunia Dursley.
What begins as cruel fascination becomes a vicious, all-consuming need to own, to have. To make Petunia’s daughter pay for every slight her mother inflicted. To ruin the girl who looks so much like the one he lost, to use her.

Summary
A young girl is delivered to Severus by the Dark Lord the night before he disappears. not knowing who she is or how she is connected to the Dark Lord Dumbledore orders Severus to continue to raise her.
Living with Rubeaus Hagrid during the school year, the odd little girl amuses herself taking excursions into the Dark forest, finding herself meeting wonderful and terrifying creatures alike. During the Holidays she is forced to contend with a caregiver who doesn't seem to know HOW to care, and a man grieving for the loss of the women he loved, but perhaps even Severus can learn to care.
This fic spans from beginning to post Deathly hollows with leaps between the series. It is a slow burn Severus Snape endgame fic which starts wholesome (there is NO underage content or attraction to the underage character) If you want to read the wholesome / cute fluff and angst version of the fiction find the part 1 of the series on my page and enjoy.
