“I’ll take your word for it.” Lyney let go, albeit reluctantly, choosing to stand beside Aether instead. The other man took out a cigarette of his own, placed it between his lips and lit it with his own Pyro. He inhaled, removed the cigarette and exhaled, holding it out for Lyney to take. The magician took it, trying not to think about how the cigarette had been between Aether’s plush, pink lips and now it was between his own.

Megumi stops breathing for a second. His grip tightens until it hurts. He looks at Yuuji, eyes wide, caught between panic and something that looks a whole lot like hope.
"Yeah," he says, his voice barely a whisper. "I'd probably let you."
