The engine screams as he twists the throttle. The motorbike whips into an arc, gravel flying. They don’t cross the bridge.
Shouto twists in the seat just once, glancing back over his shoulder.
Behind them, the mansion shrinks, the lights dim.Or the tension is released after too much physical contact and a motorcycle ride.

"Flowers?" he says incredulously as he stands back up, eyebrows drawn low over his eyes, because his room is full of them—bright orange tiger lilies crowding his desk and the shelf beside his bed and, apparently, hanging above the door waiting to attack him when he walks in. "Seriously?"
"Surprise," Shouto says evenly from where he's sitting on Katsuki's bed. His back is against the headboard, his math homework open in his lap, looking for all the world like he belongs here in Katsuki's space.
Good, Katsuki thinks fiercely, because he does.
