Summary
Almost a year has passed since Newt and a group of fellow teenage boys woke up with no memories in the center of a maze. Each day is the same—wake up, eat, run the maze corridors, fail to solve the maze, eat, sleep. Like clockwork, once a month, a new boy and fresh supply of necessities arrive. The monotony and lack of progress has Newt slowly losing hope. Newt’s hope is rekindled when a new glader arrives who seemingly is the same, except she’s a girl and is not as helpful or as pleasant as Newt envisioned.
