Naruto has only one goal in life, and that is to become Hokage.
He knows it's not supposed to be simple but dealing angry demons, secret agencies, fake history, slave seals, an insane best friend, a perverted snake, depressed sages, undercover spies, crazy conspiracies, the suicide squad, incompetent leaders, and a partridge in a pear tree, is not something he is qualified for at 13.
Forget making it to becoming Hokage, he just wants to make it to 16. Man, if only he could talk his way out of his problems.

Being cursed to sleep is absolutely no fun, so what if Scott killed off a few of his kind. Sirens were huge believers in the survival of the fittest and Scott only ever ate those weaker than him. I mean he was an all powerful siren, his voice could bring others to their knees, his appearance attracted both men and women without him even needing to alter it. The other sirens were just jealous. Yes, just jealous, nothing else.
