Was she crazy for caring so much about a fictional character? Probably. Definitely. But she could not stop thinking about Ineffa. About the way she had lived and died in a story that now felt like it had betrayed her.
“Ineffable? My ass!” she shouted to no one in particular. “Literally, who in the world just randomly kills off the main character!? This has to be the MOST stupidest way someone has ever died!” Her hands flailed wildly as she groaned. Did I seriously waste my mora on this…? Unbelievable. Stupid Clanker! Stupid book! Stupid author! It was almost as if the original author had died halfway through and her friend had finished it. This has to be some kind of troll, right?
