Summary
As soon as William began casting the spell, he felt his energy leaving him with the words.
He focused in his mind on his paladin and on the bond that always sang so sweetly between them. He imagined him, in all his brave and courageous self when they stood side by side on the battlefield, his long, dark and wavy hair, often plastered to his forehead from sweat under his helmet, but silky to the touch. Will could imagine running his fingers through it. Memories of his brilliant smile resurfaced next, a smile that turned something akin to shyness whenever their eyes would meet across the room; freckles dotting his cheeks like stars themselves. A sword on his belt, a shield on his back. His warm, gloveless hand holding Will's own. He imagined all that and pulled at their vow.

Paladin Mike gets send into regular Hawkins world, and Will the Wise is trying to find him at all cost.

Summary
Mike stuffs his hands in his pockets as he waits for the door to swing open. When it finally does, his tense shoulders relax a little at the face that appears on the other side.
Joyce’s eyes widen in surprise when she sees him. Her inquisitive gaze makes him feel small, standing hunched over on her porch in the dim afternoon light. He must look pathetic— like a dog that’s been left out in the rain. “Mike,” she says, her voice laced with mock-cheer. He wishes she would just cut the act already. Kick him to the curb like she clearly wants to. “I wasn’t expecting you.”

Mike seeks refuge at the Byers’ house during an emotional breakdown. He doesn’t feel very welcome there.

Summary
"You left me," Mike says, gravely serious but somehow still so young in his demeanour, brow a little heavier than usual, lips still pouty. Will frowns too, rubbing at Mike's arm, feeling the soft hairs underneath his palm and loving him over and over again.
"Uh-huh." Mike doesn't elaborate again. "You're being very vague –"
"For someone else. In my dream," he finally mutters before burying his face back into Will's arm, leaving the rest of his comment muffled, though the brokenness of it can still be made out. "You broke up with me in my dream for… someone else."
aka mike has a dream that will broke up with him for someone else and will's curious about who it could be..

Summary
Mike moved sharply to the side, pressing himself against the lockers, letting the disgruntled guy pass. The guy snorted, smugly pushed his glasses up his crooked nose, and gave Mike what seemed like an arrogant look before moving forward. A bell rang throughout the hallway, creating a resonance effect. Mike covered his ears, closed his eyes, slid down someone's poorly closed door, finishing it off, and fell to the floor with a dull thud, instantly pulling his knees up for protection.
All this is not just a silly joke or complete stupidity. All this is real mockery, tormenting his very essence.
But Mike will be stronger than this.
Because he always has been.

Mike was finally left on his own after Will and El moved to California. He doesn't realize that he's gradually losing himself.
