Summary
Whispers of a Hightower plot to disinherit Rhaenyra from the throne reach her days before Viserys's death. Otto is taken for questioning, and Rhaenyra arranges a match between Daenys - her eldest child - and Aemond Targaryen to keep the peace. Aemond cannot stomach marrying a Strong bastard, while the Hightowers believe he could become King yet...

Note: I have taken certain liberties with the details of the degrees the characters are studying for and their living arrangements at St Andrews. This story is just my headcanon of what Darrell and her friends do after school--please don't mind any discrepancies from actual life at St Andrews! Also, the last Malory Towers book was published in 1951, so I presume the girls attend university from 1952 to 1956.
