Summary

This is based on a prompt found in the AO3 Facebook.
Sherlock is an Omega whose Alpha has died severing their bond. Sherlock is depressed for an Omega who lost their mate is considered worthless in their society. If young and fertile, unbonded omegas are sent to breeding camps, forced to bear pups they will never raise; something his brother, Mycroft, will never let happen.
Or there is the option of becoming the Second Mate of an Alpha who is already bonded. The omega would be welcomed into the home, bear all the pups the Alpha wished and live comfortably and protected. There is no love and the second's mate place is very low compared to the spouse, but it was better than the alternative.
Still mourning his beloved Alpha, Sherlock refuses to be someone else's spouse, let alone a lowly Second Mate, but time is running out before he’s forced to go to the camps. Sherlock is forced to marry John Watson, a wealthy Alpha doctor, who is married to Mary, an infertile Beta. Both of whom hide dark secrets from each other.

It has been several months since Sherlock's return, and less time since John moved back into 221b. Whatever normality that has returned between the two men is strained with the acceptance of their newest case, and Sherlock soon begins exhibiting a kind of distress and instability John has never seen him experience before. John is worried, and not for that reason alone; Sherlock is also having night terrors.

Summary
Continuation of TAB, Sherlock wakes up in the plane and John takes him home, taking care of him, per Mycroft's request. He stays with Sherlock while he recovers.
Some light case work, but main plot of the story is the boys being royal idiots. (What else is new)
I am rubbish at summaries, so I do apologize.
"Miss me?" Sherlock opened his eyes, and through the fog of the drugs that still threatened to take over he found the face of Watson, no John, staring down at him with concern.
That was one hour ago. He was now draped over the sofa, the cold leather sending chills along his neck where it pressed into his skin, every wrinkle and lump of the sofa felt more defined than ever before. John was doting over him, tucking a blanket around his body, lifting his head to place a pillow under it, offering him a glass of water, mentioning that he should make tea.
"Mary?" Sherlock's mouth felt like cotton and he gladly accepted the proffered glass.
"Sent her home." John said flatly, lifting Sherlock's feet to sit at the end of the sofa, placing them over his lap as he turned to look at his friend.

Summary
John Watson loves weddings. He's been to 27 in total and has the tuxes to prove it. But now, on wedding number 28 it's his turn to serve his younger sister as her Man of Honour, only... John is hopelessly in love with his sister's would-be wife.
The cynical Sherlock Holmes is a writer with hopes of becoming an investigative journalist, unfortunately his eye for style and talent for writing romantic dribbles lands him in the style section writing the commitments column for his older brother's newspaper company. Wishing to break out of that industry Sherlock searches ceaselessly for ways to expose the wedding industry for the sham he believes it to be.
This is a version of 27 dresses but with Johnlock. The first few Chapters are really similar to the film but I tore it away a bit more by adding some Sherlockian elements in the later chapters.Bookmarked by powertoo
